Seems to fit morphologically and geographically. Best to wait for Paul Skelley though.

i simply cannot believe the size & shape of this scutellum
too bad i'm away from my sources; those with scutellum that long are mostly non-native, as far as i know

with keys I have available, this would then be either A. pinguis Haldeman or A. hyperboreus LeConte

Would the differences be anything that would be apparent at this resolution, at the right angle? I took a bunch of shots of this one, though unfortunately I didn't have my good lens with me.
