Hoppers at Lights

Hoppers at Lights
Near Ruraldale, Upshur County, West Virginia, USA
July 25, 2006
Size: Each about 3 mm long
My inspiration for this montage was Russ Jones, who also posted an array of Erythroneura grouped together in a montage.

These individuals were all present at the same time. What a lot of color and patterning in an insect only about 3 mm long!

Are these all color varieties of the same species of Erythroneura?

Moved
Moved from Erythroneura.

Erythroneura
The two on the left haven't "colored up" properly - the red is not yet strongly marked. You probably have a number of different species here.
