some people i have spoke to about this seem to think its a HARPOON CLUBTAIL DRAGONFLY...the cut in the upper yelow/green thorax line was marker for an ID

sounds reasonable to me, but I don't know enough about odonates to confirm. You can move this image to that species page if you're sure of the ID, or we can leave it here for a while in the hopes that an expert will comment...

i just added a photo of the abdomen to help further with the ID. another marker was S8-S10 being all black when viewed dorsally and this could be a female
