Identification
Elytra coarsely punctate, shining; legs black. The male is easily distinguished from its allies by the shape of the first antennal segment and the black legs. (1)

See Also
C. histrio differs from C. quadrimaculatus in the basal cyaneous spots touching the suture and external margins, and is a little larger on the average. They are evidently very nearly allied to each other
