Based on Levi's description ".. can be recognized immediately by their unique red-bordered black patch on the golden yellow background".

Your specimen has a little different pattern than I'm used to seeing, which makes it pretty cool. Also your images appear to have deeper colors than I'm used to seeing. I'm not sure if you're doing any extra saturation to your images, but if you are it's best to stick to the natural colors when posting here since other people will be using your images to ID their spiders in the future.

Thank you, Lynette, for taking the time to comment and offer those great tips for future additions.

I use a Nikon D-80 with either a Sigma 105mm, or Nikon 105mm Micro + a Kenco 1.4 Teleconverter for my macros. I also have a 25mm tube that I will break out once in a while.

My problem is the lighting. I'm working on that now with some homemade diffusers.
