Diogmites neoternatus

Diogmites neoternatus
Snowhill Road north of Cabin Branch Creek, Treyburn area, Durham County, North Carolina, USA
July 25, 2006
Size: 26 mm
The eyes really are something, mounted on such a narrow stalk. This shot also shows the details of the antennae well.

Nice photos, Patrick
I especially like the face shot. You may already know this technique, but you may want to try cloning the front part of the good eye/antenna shot onto the the one with the detailed hairs. I've had some good results with this, but the angle of the head may pose a problem in this particular case, as might the slight difference in background color. Anyway, worth a quick try.
