New genus
This is now Microasydates umbratus (LeConte). Revision and description of the new genus in Gimmel & Mayor 2022, The Coleopterists Bulletin 76(4): 537–568.

Definitely T. umbratus
This is definitely Trichochrous umbratus (LeConte), soon to form the core of a new genus.
