We're thinking more likely Fishing Spider
genus Dolomedes

 
Well, that would explain
why its abdomen didn't seem to match any wolf spiders! I guess the eyes fooled me -- the difference in size between the upper and lower is more than I thought pisaurids had (and more than is shown in the eye arrangement article, but I see now that it is definitely less than lycosids have, now that I'm not half asleep.
