ID Help?? - Corythucha marmorata
Grenada County, Mississippi, USA
July 10, 2012
Found these nymphs on the back of a sunflower plant (Asteraceae) leaf.
Just a few mm from these nymphs, I also found a specimen that looks like a lace bug of some type (see 2nd image here - http://bugguide.net/node/view/671692 )...could these be the nymphs of the lace bug?

Corythucha marmorata?
It is possible that those nymphs are the same lace bug adult, Corythucha marmorata that you posted. Lace bugs can complete their whole life cycle on the same leaf or twigs. Also, some species of lace bugs have "parental" behaviors, so it is not uncommon to see the adults hanging out with the nymphs. However, these are way to small to be sure if they're the same species.

Look like nymphs
They look to my very un-expert eye like lace bug nymphs, yes. The ones I have seen tend to line up on the leaf's mid-vein and in time you'll notice a sort of blotchiness appear on the leaf where the bugs have been feeding.

I expect that they are indeed Tingid nymphs...
They resemble others in the Guide:

However, these two images should be unlinked because they do not depict the same individual. (They can be cross referenced with thumbnails in the "Remarks" section.)
