I believe this is one of the Fratillaries. Please correct me if wrong. Can someone with greater knowledge take it beyond?

Does look more like a Northern ... to me

Actually
This is one of the crescents -- probably Pearl Crescent (Phyciodes tharos), but you may be far enough north for Northern Crescent (P. selenis).
