Wee little ants - Brachymyrmex patagonicus

Wee little ants - Brachymyrmex patagonicus
Palm Beach County, Florida, USA
May 28, 2012
This ant trail flowed along some dayflower and a few blades of grass before vanishing into the foliage. They were really really little ants; any shot at an ID?

These are actually quite a bit smaller than any Lasius sp, and these have 9-segmented antennae and wing venation different from any Lasius. A big group in the Neotropics, Brachymyrmex has one native and perhaps a half dozen introduced species established in Florida.

Lasius sp.
Lasius, either L. alienus or L. neoniger.
