ok for Pristaulacus fasciatus (Say). There is another similar and very rare species with the forewings entirely black.

Perhaps P. fasciatus. Nice find.

Thanks! That explains why I couldn't find it under braconids and ichneumons.

 
Pristaulacus fasciatus…
Checked further. I believe that this is the only Pristaulacus species that has the yellow hyaline wing band beneath the stigma.
