Size: 5/8 - 3/4 inch MOL
Found in the grass of a cow pasture.

Cicadetta
This pic is of a Cicadetta, but still looks more like a calliope given that it is not so bright lime green.
Cicadetta species in Florida have been mistaken for kansa based on color, but call and wing cell counts verify them as calliope or floridensis.
Also, many cicadas are prone to discoloration after death, therefore color for dead material is not always revealing.
