Euclidia intercalaris - Hodges #8740
Moved from Moths.

So it really was different from diagonalis
I couldn't quite tell why but I thought so

E. diagonalis > intercalaris compared
Notice the shape of the triangle in the basal area of Euclidia diagonalis is a regular triangle shape.

That triangle in C. intercalaris has a "tail" extending off the inner corner towards the anal angle.
Both species are in your area.
Thanks

Euclidia diagonalis
