Diceroprocta apache or Diceroprocta semicincta? I'm guessing the latter because the collar is white vs cream?

I suspect both cicadas pictured...
I suspect both cicadas pictured are the same species. I would say these are apache, but...there is a lot of disagreement and uncertainty among many as to where the areas of transition or overlap actually fall.
Recently I was told that it is apache north of Tucson (Casa Grande/Phoenix area), but there are images from Maricopa Co., AZ here on the guide identified as semicincta (by A. Sanborn, a specialist in the field of cicada research) and there are other images id'd as apache from the Sonoran region south of Tucson (Davis papers and morphological descriptions were used).
refer to comments under this image.
Until I am clear on the identification and there is a consensus among several of the "leading minds", I am going to "pigeon-hole" these guys for now.
