The adults appear to be most common from June to August. (3)

The larval host is Quercus L. (oak). (5)
Life Cycle
Caterpillars form sacks of leaves and silk to hide in for protection. (6)
Remarks
There are four sack-bearer moths found north of Mexico. (6)
