mondo syrphid? - Milesia virginiensis - Female
West Alexander, Washington County, Pennsylvania, USA
July 19, 2012
Size: 2cm
saw this huge "bee" on my porch, found it drinking dog urine...the biggest fly I have ever seen. I assume it is a fly since it has one set of wings, and looks like a syrphid to me..
