I raised this spider in captivity from a hatchling. Of about 90 hatchlings, this was the only one I managed to raise to adulthood. Unlike hatchling Mecaphesa dubia, these hatchlings were not inclined to scavenge on dead fruit flies, so most of them starved. I have a colony of collembola prepared for my next attempt.
