Very large mayfly. Data point for Illinois if I've got the ID right.

Hexagenia
hi psweet-

This female imago is of genus Hexagenia, and may well be H. limbata. However, there are (4) species of Hexagenia reported from from IL, and one of them (H. rigida) requires microscopic examination of male imago penes in order to differentiate from H limbata.

Fair enough
Thanks!
