Unknown Moth - Aristotelia

Unknown Moth - Aristotelia
Beachwood, Ocean County, New Jersey, USA
July 21, 2012

Moved
Moved from ID Request.

Aristotelia
This is something in Aristotelia (Gelechiidae). I can't take it farther than that on sight ID.

Looks like
Aristotelia amelanchierella - Hodges#1728
One of the only ones on MPG TO HAVE PINK HUES ON IT.

Not likely
A. amelanchierella is a western species, described from Utah and reared from a different species of Amelanchier from the one that occurs here in the east.

Quite a few of the eastern spp. of Aristotelia have pink scaling, to a greater or lesser degree depending on species, individual variation, and wear.

I think i got it now
This one's been found in Jersey.
Aristotelia rubidella - Hodges#1762
Thanks for all your help!
