Red girdle - Caripeta aequaliaria - ~ 14 km S of Lytton, Hwy. 1, 50.122015 & -121.556447, alt. 224 m, Thompson-Nicola, British Columbia, Canada June 26, 2011
Attracted to light. Widespread and common. Personal experience indicates populations on the coast (e.g. Gary Point, Richmond, BC) will produce adults in late spring - early summer (i found gravid females in mid June). Eggs hatch about two weeks later. Unfortuantely all my larvae died so observations could not continue.
