Day flying moth - Gnophaela vermiculata

Day flying moth - Gnophaela vermiculata
Albion Basin at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon, Salt Lake County, Utah, USA
July 7, 2012
These moths were fairly common at the tops of both Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons (elevation 8,000 to 9,500 ft). They remind me of ctenuchids but I am unable to make a solid match. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
