Dragonfly - Leucorrhinia

Dragonfly - Leucorrhinia
Summit Lake, Lassen National Park, California, USA
June 26, 2012
Size: Approximately 1.5"
This dragonfly was emerging from pupae all around Summit Lake (7000 ft) at Lassen NP.

Leucorrhinia sp
One of the Whitefaces. I don't believe it is Hudsonian, as the abdominal markings appear rather thin.

This should be unlinked from the other two photos as they aren't the same species.

Crimson-ringed whiteface
This is a female with no yellow spot on the side of S4. Combined with small dorsal abdominal spots and location where it was photographed, it seems to be the only species that fits.
