Nice photos!
This may turn out to be Diastema morata which may be straying or expanding north from Mexico. Did you keep the specimen? There are other photos of this species and we are keeping them at the genus level for now.

Good job, Trent
This one has been hounding me for two years! Nice to see the larva. Maury, this does seem to match up well with morata on Hampson's plate fig. 16. Haven't been able to find any photos of this moth.
