narrow reddish longhorn - Psyrassa unicolor

narrow reddish longhorn - Psyrassa unicolor
Nashua, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA
July 18, 2006
Size: about 12 mm
Came to MV lights.

I might post a few more New Hampshire images during airport waits, but I'll be switching states for a couple weeks beginning Friday, posting freshly captured images from New Mexico.

Aneflomorpha subpubescens ?
Compare to this - ummm.. (would be in the Cerambycinae). Size is a bit smaller than recorded 15-18mm.

Possibly Psyrassa unicolor?
Revisiting Yanega's image of A. subpub*escens, I see that it is a somewhat broader beetle than this one. And there is the size difference you noticed as well. While I hadn't previously thought this beetle's pronotum matched P. unicolor, it is certainly close.

seems unlikely
See P. unicolor - the elytral apices don't match, among other things. this shouldn't be a tough one, but I'm drawing a blank.

Rescue
Maybe one of our longhorn collectors will come to the rescue.

Psyrassa unicolor
I'd definitely go with P. unicolor. I have some from MD, WV, and ME.

I'll go with it.
Thank you, Frank.
