Found in lawn next to garden and cornfield. I think crassiuscula, but not sure.

Covell's guide describes the two species like this: "C. crassiuscula - male FW has 2 diffuse dark bands which almost meet near inner margin and touch inner margin - C. erechtea similar to Clover Looper Moth, in male FW has 2 dark bars that are clearly defined but do not touch each other or inner margin." Hope that helps.
