greenish spider eats little brown bug - Theridion

greenish spider eats little brown bug - Theridion
Palm Beach County, Florida, USA
July 26, 2012
This small greenish spider was busy wrapping up a tiny brown bug, perhaps for the baby spiders that were nearby? (Or do they fend for themselves?) After I took this picture, the spider dropped to the ground on a strand of web and the brown bug wiggled out of this wrapping. What is the spider, and what is the little brown bug?

Moved to Genus Theridion
Moved from ID Request. This is very likely one of our many Theridion species. I'm not sure how they interact with their spiderlings or if they can eat something that size. I'd guess they probably stick to smaller/softer prey.
