Obscure Sap Beetle -
Conotelus obscurus
Harrisonburg, Rockingham County, Virginia, USA
July 28, 2012
Size: ~4 mm
A pair of these small rove beetles was feeding inside a flower in the garden. At first I thought they were large thrips.
