Size: 1.2-2 inches
I thought this was going to be genus Lethe, but can't find this pattern of spots at all. Please help! This is the only shot I got before she zipped off, never to be found again. I can't even tell if the clubs have black on the ends or not.

This is a Common Wood-Nymph,
This is a Common Wood-Nymph, Cercyonis pegala. The orange on the forewing is often reduced (like this one) in more northern populations.
