Euxoa tristicula? - Euxoa tristicula
Lac du Bois Grasslands (north of Kamloops), British Columbia, Canada
July 21, 2012
Found near edge of alkaline pond surrounded by grasslands and sagebrush; landed on Red Glasswort (Salicornia rubra). I'm having some trouble pinning this one down for an identification, so any help is greatly appreciated.

I just found a shot of a Euxoa tristicula specimen on the Pacific Northwest Moth website that matches this individual pretty close - see here: http://pnwmoths.biol.wwu.edu/browse/family-noctuidae/subfamily-noctuinae/tribe-noctuini/euxoa/euxoa-tristicula/. Any thoughts?

Do you have a much larger and closer cropped photo to see details better?
Thanks

I hope the closer crop/larger size help out. Thanks for your assistance!
