unknown dark spider
Estes Park, Larimer County, Colorado, USA
July 21, 2012
Size: about 8 mm legspan

The abdominal pattern looks like Mangora placida
but we don't see those spiny Mangora legs

pattern similar - legs not
You know what else it makes me think of? Diguetia.

The legs aren't right for that either though.

One other idea & size looks right for this one, male Dictyna

Moved from Spiders.

Any chance you can get a shot that shows the carapace & eyes?

No other shots
I knew this would be a long shot; this is the only shot I got before it scurried off!

we can let it hang around for a while. It has a relatively unique abdominal pattern which might allow for an ID.
