Argia? - Argia apicalis - male

Argia? - Argia apicalis - Male
Johnston, Polk County, Iowa, USA
July 29, 2006
This specimen was located very near a female Blue-ringed Dancer but it does not appear to be a male Blue-ringed Dancer. Wondering if it is a male bluet?

Blue-fronted Dancer
It looks like Blue-fronted (Argia apicalis) to us. Ref. Damselflies of the Northeast by Ed Lam, p. 44.
