Found this cool little dude on one of my yellow daisies - the yellow patches on its back matched the flower perfectly.

Enchenopa
This is the species that feeds on bittersweet (Celastrus). The scientific name is still undetermined, but should be published shortly.

we looked everywhere and yes thats it. you cant see it really good from my photo but thats exactly what it looked like. almost like a mini dinosaur. haha

Some Enchenopa species. I think it most closely resembles Enchenopa porrecta but I am not an expert. Dr Hamilton may be able to help with the ID.
