Bothrotes plumbeus (Tenebrionidae) in Colorado Springs - Bothrotes
Colorado Springs, Deerfield Hills in my backyard (N38° 47.041' , W104° 44.930'), El Paso County, Colorado, USA

Size: L = 10 mm
Found on Coreopsis grandiflora.This is a flightless beetle (no wings). I found this species also on Verbesina encelioides - Golden Crown-beard on August 30, 2006 in Palmer Park (6600 ft).
