A. bicentenarius egg sacs - Araneus bicentenarius

A. bicentenarius egg sacs - Araneus bicentenarius
Austin, Travis County, Texas, USA
These are two separate egg sacs made by the same Araneus bicentenarius. The egg sacs were made in captivity at the UT Austin lab. Each is slightly oblong, soft and fuzzy, with a dark and dense core where eggs are. Each measures about 1.2" x 0.8".

I thought to add these to BG because not too long ago we were trying to ascertain whether an egg sac and hatchlings belonged to A. bicentenarius, but we didn't have any egg sac photos to go on. I'll also take photos of the spiderlings when they hatch.
