Mating pair resting on green rabbitbrush (Chrysothamnus viscidiflorus). Quite common butterfly with wide range of caterpillar host plants. Recently I reared a caterpillar to adult from green seed pods of a smoothstem blazingstar (Mentzelia laevicaulis).
