10304 - Striped Garden Caterpillar Moth - Trichordestra legitima
...BUT.... I reserve the right to be wrong :-) Check out all the Trichordestra.

Trichordestra liquida
I think that is Trichordestra liquida - Hodges' # 10308. In legitima the claviform spot is smaller than the orbicular, while in liquida it is about the same size or bigger. In legitima the orbicular spot is light gray throughout, while in liquida it has a dark brown center. Forewing's coloration is less contrasting in legitima than in liquida. Compare both species on the J. Vargo's plates at MPG.

Thanks, Jan
Your sharp eye for detail is a real gift. My eyes went blurry while comparing the photos but I think I did end up with more small points favoring T. liquida.

ID
Bob, that's the closest match I could find. Mine is pretty worn. Thanks
