I've seen yellow and red velvet ants in about the same place. They're different species, right?

to species page. It seems like the best fit, although I'm not an authority on Mutillids and there may be look-alike species. If an expert comes through they may have something different to say, but I think it's in the right place.

velvet ant?
Yes this looks like another type of velvet ant, which is actually a wasp (vespidae?). And likely a different species than red velvet ants.
