Spider on water.
Was awesome to watch him on the water. He was quite fast. When he reached the side of the container, he seemed to panic a bit when it appeared he couldn't get up the side. That's when I put the camera down and helped him out. (I was still thinking he had slipped in accidentally while drinking, but now think he jumped in on purpose to "hunt" maybe?)

Spider on water.
I've seen some of the local Pardosa wolf spiders walking around on water too, but never figured out whether it was deliberate or not... in most cases I also found springtails, so it's possible the spiders were hunting them.

Yes
Looks a wolf spider. Very cool to see it on the water! Would it be possible to crop the dorsal shot so we can see the markings on the back a bit better? Genus Trochosa is the first thing that jumps to mind, but I can't really tell. Someone else may know better.
