Juno Beach (Juno Dunes Natural Area-south section), Palm Beach County, Florida, USA
August 4, 2012
Size: 30mm
I managed to get within about 5 feet of this one before it flew away. It seemed larger than 25mm to me. I have been stalking these beautiful monsters all Summer but have rarely been able to get close. They patrol their territory like fuzzy little helicopters!
