Acleris? - Metcracis fusca

Acleris? - Metcracis fusca
Kickapoo Canyon State Park, Kinney County, Texas, USA
March 19, 2011
Tough to photograph, and really fairly brown. The darker patches are more shadows than anything. Seen in early morning on a lighted building. Looks like it may belong in something close to Acleris.

Thanks!
Thank you!

Planthopper?
Something in Flatoidinae?

Flatoidinus fuscus
The darkest and most parallel-sided species in the genus. This is a new state record (previously recorded from AZ, CO and CA) and the first time the genus has been recorded from this state!

Wow!
That's why I can't find it! Shall we move it there, or would it be more appropriate to put it in ID Request to make sure first? That's the first time I've been fooled by one of these! Cool bug!
