It's not easy...id'ing cicadas from pic's
I make plenty of mistakes and respect most those who do the same...and can admit it :0
b.t.w. My pencils ALL still have erasers ;)
Regarding Tibicen cicadas, these guys are a mess. You might want to read the info sections and then follow the species links listed under the "See Also" sections of each taxon. I'm trying to link and cross reference where I can. I am also trying to link off site ref. papers, etc.
