Oleander aphids on milkweed. The lighter yellow-ish homoptera appear to be something else.

Two species of aphid! Interesting.
Which apparently isn't that uncommon:
This doesn't look exactly like the other images of
Myzocallis asclepidais
so I'm wondering if it's a different species or just young. I know we have a billion of them someone reared out from
Asclepiadis
down in our research collection so I'll see if I get a chance to take a look.

Natalie - thanks, interesting that they seem to co-occur with oleander aphids, and not on uninfested milkweeds.
