Leafhopper with a (phoretic?) mite.
Found this one in the creek and took it out to photograph it. I don't think it wanted to be in the creek ... there were quite a few of these leafhoppers in the grass near the creek.

Draeculacephala crassicornis
This is a female - males have the antennal tip black and expanded, as if crushed (hence the species name). The color pattern is characteristic of this a several closely related species, but this species has the widest, shortest wings.
