2nd Individual Added
I added a second individual here but you may want to check it out to make sure I'm correct.

Moved
Identified by Dr. Michael Sharkey.

Moved from Ants, Bees, Wasps and Sawflies.

Thanks
And extend my gratitude to Dr. Sharkey. Getting a Braconid to genus is a real treat.

Generic ID
It definitely helped that the photo quality was excellent.

nice! gotta love the name, too
sounds military

Meaning
It surely has to be Greek or pseudo-Greek, but I don't find a definition. The nearest I find in Brown, 1956 is the Greek word Helcos, which means "wound, sore, ulcer." I could only speculate that Nees might have chosen the name because of the strong notauli.

Right…
Unsure beyond that.
