Can someone help me with the
Can someone help me with the id?

My apologies
I often move large groups of moths to a largest common denominator, i.e., family, genus, etc., to help clean out the ID Request or Moth section and progress them down through the taxonomy.

But your specimen here looks to be a Zelicodes linearis, or something close.

Hi Jason
Thanks for the response. I totally understand about moving pics to help clean out the ID request section.

I think you are right about this being something similar to Zelicodes linearis. I took a look at the plates in that area and think that Oxycilla tripla is a better id. My individual seems darker though, so maybe this is an Undescribed Oxycilla sp.? Let me know what you think

Zelicodes
The FW shape is not correct for Oxycilla, plus the PM line is more sinuous in Oxycilla tripla, and not as straight as in your specimen. Plus the diffuse ST line is spot on for Zelicodes. I'm quite certain it's a species of Zelicodes, and the most probable and closest in appearance is Z. linearis. There's a fair amount of variation in that species. Check out the BOLDSystems page to see some examples.

You are right
Jason, you were correct about Z. linearis. I see that there is a lot of variation and agree with you on that species id. There is at least one individual on bugguide for this species that, besides being paler, looks like a good match. Thanks for help with the id!
