Tineidae - Filatima biforella

Tineidae - Filatima biforella
Palo Duro Canyon, State Park, Randall County, Texas, USA
August 5, 2012
Poss. Phereoeca uterella. The head seems smaller than the thorax and without a brush of scales at front, at least compared to photo #88021 by J. Hollenbeck. At light.

Moved from ID Request.

Filatima biforella
Definitely gelechioid, with smooth head vestiture and long, upcurved acuminate labial palpi. Looks good for Filatima biforella (Gelechiidae), as seen here.
