Salticidae Jumper - Attulus fasciger

Salticidae Jumper - Attulus fasciger
Syracuse, Onondaga County, New York, USA
August 18, 2012
Size: 3mm
Very small, found in the city on a man-made structure.

Moved to Sitticus fasciger
Moved from ID Request.

I'm pretty sure it's larger than 1 mm though.

Well...
2mm at MAX! He was tiny, I will try to track him down again and snap a ruler with it!

EDIT: Here's another idea, I am going to go find that tiny peice of marble he's standing next to, and measure that. It should give me a good idea!

EDIT2: Well, after measuring the stone that was next to this spider, I figure it was about 2.5-3mm.

Looks like...
Sitticus fasciger or Asian Wall Jumper. This species is very common on man-made structures.
