Neoscona crucifera? - Neoscona arabesca

Neoscona crucifera? - Neoscona arabesca
Rowland Heights, CA, LA County, California, USA
August 19, 2012
Size: about 1-2cm
This time I happened to see this spider in the garden. I think it is a Neoscona crucifera but I would like confirmation on whether it is right or a different species

Moved to Neoscona arabesca
Moved from ID Request. Yes, I think it is N. arabesca. It has more pattern showing than N. crucifera and it has mostly black hairs on the legs which seems to be normal for this species. These are pretty small... so I'm assuming that the size includes the legs?

Possibly
This one looks a bit different from the Neoscona cruciferas I'm used to seeing. Neoscona arabesca is another possibility, lets see what the others think.
