my mystery bug - Chinavia hilaris

my mystery bug - Chinavia hilaris
Peninsula, Summit County, Ohio, USA
August 7, 2006
I found this guy on a tree near the parking lot for Kendall Lake, part of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, sometime after 1:00 p.m.
He tended to scurry to the underside of the leaf for much of the time.
